EPIT Releases 2025 Course Calendar Featuring New Hydrogen Safety and IECEx Certification Courses

Aberdeen, UK — EPIT Group (EPIT) has published its 2025 course calendar, enhancing its range of hazardous area training to support industry professionals worldwide. Alongside its established weekly CompEx Ex01-Ex04 and CompEx Recognised Practitioners Programme (CompEx refresher) courses, the calendar now includes EPIT’s recently launched Hydrogen Safety training and a new IECEx Equipment Certification Guidance course. These additions reflect EPIT’s ongoing commitment to providing essential training that ensures safety and compliance in explosive and hazardous environments.

The Hydrogen Safety course, developed to address the industry’s shift towards sustainable energy solutions, offers comprehensive guidance on best practices for handling hydrogen systems. As hydrogen production and usage expand within sectors aiming to reduce emissions, this course equips participants with critical safety protocols and expertise to safely manage hydrogen related processes.

The new IECEx Equipment Certification Guidance course is designed to support professionals working with equipment in hazardous atmospheres. It provides essential knowledge on IECEx certification processes, empowering participants to maintain compliance and adhere to international safety standards in explosive environments.

“Providing training that anticipates and meets industry needs is core to EPIT’s mission,” said Martin Constable, Operations Director of EPIT. “These new courses are part of our commitment to equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills required for safe and compliant operations, particularly as industries adopt cleaner technologies and work to higher safety standards.”

Based in Aberdeen, EPIT Group has established itself as a leader in hazardous area training, offering specialised courses such as IECEx, CompEx, and ATEX to support safety and regulatory compliance. EPIT serves a diverse range of industries, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, delivering expert, practical training solutions for hazardous environments.

I did compex 01-04. English is not my first language. I got extra support, a bit of extra explonation, extra advice. All of this was super helpful. The instructors were very knowlagable, passionate and well tempered. I failed one of the units but I passed it second time.

Done the CompEx Ex01-Ex04 with Mike and Dodd, and they were both excellent! They both broke things down and made them easier to understand, as well as being genuinely good people who you can have a normal conversation and laugh with!

An absolutely brilliant training and test facility that made the dreaded "Compex Refresher" course, a far more enjoyable and beneficial experience. From the great training material to the very knowledgeable instructors, it all helped to teach us about the new practices and standards in Compex and I certainly left knowing more than I did when I walk through the door Monday morning. Thanks to the all staff! 5*
