Flexible Online Training, Delivered by EPIT’s Industry Experts

Flexible Online Training, Delivered by EPIT's
Industry Experts

Access to specialist technical training should not be limited by location.

For organisations operating across multiple sites, individuals working remotely, or professionals based outside the UK, travelling to a training centre is not always practical. EPIT provides flexibility to undertake a wide range of our specialist training courses online, giving delegates access to the same technical expertise wherever they are based.

Unlike self-directed E-Learning, our online courses are delivered live by EPIT’s experienced instructors, allowing delegates to engage directly with the trainer, ask questions and discuss how the subject matter applies within real working environments.

Bringing EPIT Training to You

EPIT supports engineers, technicians and other industry professionals working across hazardous and industrial environments, with training covering areas including ATEX and IECEx, explosion protection, electrical safety, HV/LV systems and other specialist technical subjects.

Where course requirements allow, training can be delivered remotely, providing a practical alternative for delegates who may be unable to attend our training centres.

This approach can be particularly valuable for organisations with personnel based across different sites, regions or countries, helping to provide access to consistent technical training without the additional time and cost associated with travel.

Live Training with Direct Access to Our Instructors

Online delivery does not mean learning independently.

Courses are conducted live by EPIT instructors, maintaining the interaction that is an important part of technical training. Delegates have the opportunity to ask questions, explore specific areas in greater detail and benefit from the practical industry experience of the instructor throughout the course.

EPIT’s training team includes highly qualified professionals with extensive industrial experience across hazardous area compliance, electrical safety and associated standards and regulations.

Supporting Training Across Global Operations

For organisations managing teams across multiple locations, online delivery can also provide greater flexibility when planning workforce development.

Rather than requiring personnel to travel to a central training location, suitable courses can be delivered directly to delegates online. This can help organisations coordinate training across sites while maintaining a consistent approach to technical knowledge and competence.

Online delivery can also be discussed for company-specific requirements, allowing EPIT to support organisations looking to train groups of employees as part of a wider competence or compliance programme.

Building Competence in IECEx Certification

Certification requirements continue to evolve as industries adopt new technologies and enter new markets. As a result, organisations increasingly require personnel who understand both the technical and practical aspects of the certification process.

Understanding the roles of Certification Bodies, applicable standards, quality assessment requirements and documentation structures can help organisations manage projects more effectively and reduce avoidable challenges during product development.

Practical knowledge is particularly valuable for professionals involved in equipment design, manufacturing, compliance activities and hazardous area projects.

Online Training and E-Learning: What’s the Difference?

EPIT also provides a dedicated E-Learning platform, but this serves a different purpose.

Our E-Learning modules are self-directed and allow delegates to work through selected technical subjects at their own pace. They are particularly useful for developing or refreshing knowledge ahead of further training.

Our instructor-led online courses, by comparison, take place live with an EPIT trainer and follow the structured delivery of the relevant course.

Both options provide greater flexibility but allow organisations and individuals to choose the learning format most appropriate to their requirements.

Find the Right Training Option

Whether you are based in the UK or overseas, EPIT can help identify the most appropriate way to access the training you require.

Browse our range of courses through the EPIT website and book available training online. If you require an online delivery option or would like to arrange training for a team or organisation, contact EPIT to discuss your requirements.
