Nine years ago, EPIT Group made a strategic decision to relocate to a custom built training complex in Blackburn Business Park near Aberdeen. This move was not just about physical relocation; it was a bold commitment to the future during a notably tough phase for the oil and gas industry. Despite the challenges, everyone at EPIT held a strong belief in the resilience of the market and the superior quality of its training programs and instructors. This faith was not misplaced.
The decision to invest in a state-of-the-art facility came at a critical time when the industry was grappling with economic hurdles. Yet, our confidence in the offerings we had as a training and assessment provider, as well as the strategic vision an exciting growth trajectory, attracting loyalty and new partnerships. Over the years, both established operators and supply chain service companies, alongside thousands of individual contractors, have chosen EPIT for their professional training needs.
Martin Constable, EPIT Group’s Operations Director, reflects on this journey as the facility approaches another milestone: “As we enter our 10th year of operations in the purpose built facility, we are grateful for everyone who chose EPIT for courses and advisory services and we are looking forward to another year of successful operations and new and exciting developments.”
